Enterprise Data & AI Solution Specialist, Microsoft
Darius Elliott's journey is characterized by his unique ability to assume increased responsibilities, emerging as a
trusted go-to advisor on data, AI, and advanced cloud services at Microsoft. One of the key achievements in his senior
role as an Enterprise Data and AI Solution Specialist is his collaboration with advanced, fast-paced enterprise accounts
to optimize their operations. His stewardship has helped them leverage Azure Marketplace and Cloud Services to rapidly
deploy and scale products and services, enabling them to stay ahead in today's competitive landscape.
Serving the company's top-tier customers underscores his ability to deliver results at a level beyond what is typical
for someone at his career stage. He was the highest seller in Microsoft's east region for Mid-Market businesses, playing
a pivotal part in driving substantial revenue growth and exceeding targets by nearly $2M — even amidst a period of
reorganization and economic challenges. His technical proficiency, rapid ascent, and impactful leadership led to his
2022 selection for the Platinum Club Award, a rare accomplishment that places him in the top 1% of all Microsoft
employees. He also has earned eight Azure certifications, solidifying his role as one of the few distinguished
specialists in Data and AI at Microsoft.
Darius is a musician, sought-after speaker, and his growing influence extends from advocating for intentional excellence
for IT professionals to fostering diversity and inclusion in technology through his discussions with Historically Black
Colleges and other universities. Currently at the University of North Texas, he is a job procurement college mentor for
minority students. He has also spoken at AfroTech, addressing the audiences on how deep tech and AI are changing the
technical landscape, and offering valuable guidance for small businesses and startups on their digital transformation
journey.
