Olatunji Omisore received his PhD in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. He will collaborate with Dr. Denny Yu, Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering, and Dr. Milton Aguirre, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology, to investigate intelligent robotic and perception technology for surgeon-AI teaming. Dr. Omisore’s research is focused on learning-based systems driven by stochastic and mechanistic physics-based modeling for human-robot navigation.
