Purdue University on Thursday (Aug. 15) officially opened its new esports facility, the Alienware Purdue Gaming Lounge, amid pomp, pageantry and high-tech gadgetry. Housed within the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center, the 2,000-square-foot esports space is outfitted with Alienware, Dell Technologies’ iconic gaming brand.
