Two ChE professors were named in Clarivate’s 2024 list of Highly Cited Researchers, demonstrating their research excellence and influence in their fields. Both researchers have authored multiple papers that rank among the top 1% in citations in the respective fields, as recorded in the Web of Science from 2013-23. Eight Purdue researchers were named in total.

The Purdue University Davidson School of Chemical Engineering hosted its annual reception at the 2024 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual Meeting on October 28 in San Diego, California. Two Purdue Engineering students were recently named Women in Defense Scholars. Since 1988, Women in Defense has awarded over $1,000,000 to 209 deserving recipients working toward a career in national security.
