Office for Mac (2008 or 2004) Resetting Author Preferences

 


Launch Microsoft Word 2008(or 2004) from the Applications folder.


Select "Preferences" from the Application menu bar.


Select "User Information" under the "Personal Settings" category.


Enter the desired information you want Office to use for Author information and future document types and then select "OK".


Office 2008(or 2004) should now be able save the User Information correctly to all documents created.
