PostScript: Creating a PostScript File with Mac OS X
In OS X it is easy to create a PostScript (.ps
) file. You can do this through the print options. When you are ready to create the PostScript file, select Print from the File menu. Under the Printer and Presets pop-up menus you will see a third pop-up menu. From that list select Output Options. You will have the option to save the print job to a PDF or PostScript file. Select PostScript and click Save.... You will then have the chance to save it wherever you like. See Fig. 1.
