Event Description
Each year, we feature 10 exceptional scholars whose work embodies the Boilermaker spirit—bold, driven, and committed to making a difference.
What to Submit
- A 700–800 word article written for a general, non-specialist audience

Why Submit?
- $500 award per accepted article
- One-on-one coaching in science communication
- A strong writing sample that demonstrates your ability to explain complex research in clear, engaging language
