Continuing a strong collaboration with the Women in Engineering Program, MSE undergraduate and graduate students took time to host an hour long demonstration session for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day. 56 high school freshmen and sophomores from around Indiana and Illinois came to learn more about MSE and were able to participate in some hands-on experiments, like making liquid nitrogen ice cream, pulling glass fibers, and figuring out the insulating properties of ceramics!
