Purdue MSE Welcomes Prof. Shriram Ramanathan to the School
Dr. Shriram Ramanathan (Ph.D. Stanford U., 2002), will be leaving Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to join the School of Materials Engineering
Dr. Shriram Ramanathan (Ph.D. Stanford U., 2002), will be leaving Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to join the School of Materials Engineering at Purdue University in the Fall 2015. He began his research career at Components Research, Intel in 2002, and joined Harvard's faculty in 2006. His research focuses on thin film materials synthesis, electronic devices, and new materials for solid oxide fuel cells. He's won multiple early career awards, from federal and industrial research agencies, was named a Kavli Fellow Lecturer by the United States National Academy of Sciences in 2012, and is a regular invited speaker at many international meetings.
