The American Nuclear Society, (ANS) selected Ms. Kollar as a recipient of a 2011-2012 ANS Graduate Scholarship Award for a graduate student pursuing nuclear science and engineering studies. The award consists of $3,000 and a certificate.

Ms. Kollar is currently participating on the National Nuclear Security Administration Nonproliferation Graduate Fellowship in Washington D.C. She works in the Office of Nonproliferation and International Security and provides technical support for international safeguards policy.

The Purdue School of Nuclear Engineering looks forward to her return back home again in Indiana.
