The BDAM team bridges business analytics with cutting-edge manufacturing research at the Manufacturing and Materials Research Laboratory (MMRL). Students will explore real-world challenges such as predictive maintenance, product development, and supply chain optimization using hands-on data from MMRL projects. The team fosters collaboration between business, data science, and engineering disciplines to generate actionable insights. Through this experience, students will develop machine learning models, build business strategies, and present their findings to faculty and industry leaders. The ultimate goal is to create data-driven solutions that improve manufacturing outcomes and explore commercialization potential.
