HKN presents fall semester Awards
HKN presented their fall semester awards at their banquet, which was held on November 15th at Thomas Duncan Hall. The recipients received a plaque at the banquet.
The awards are:
Outstanding Service Award: I-Fan Lin
HKN recognizes those who have performed exceptional work for the surrounding community. This person generously gives the one resource HKN is never be able to recoup, time.
Outstanding Active: Sambit Mishra
Eta Kappa Nu brings together people of fine quality and achievement. An outstanding active is such a member who helps improve our organization, who is self-motivated to reach out to our community, and who stands tall in this fine collective.
Outstanding Teacher Award: Professor Stanley Chan
Award goes to an individual, who has the innate ability to make complicated topics understandable. When instructing it takes effort to keep material interesting for students as well as the instructor, this person has perfected that dedication and demonstrates it each time they step in front of the would be educated, we the students.
Outstanding Professor Award: Mark Bell
Award is considerably HKN's most prestigious award. HKN recognizes those who go above and beyond to provide students with opportunities for success and development. They exemplify the role of educator and to not let those efforts go unnoticed.
