ENE Professors William Oakes, Teri Reed-Rhoads Named ASEE Fellows
Oakes, director of Purdue's EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service) program and an associate professor in the School of Engineering Education, has held senior positions in the First-Year Engineering Program and in ASEE's College Industry Partnership and Educational Research Methods divisions. He is a past chair of ASEE's Illinois/Indiana section.
Reed-Rhoads, assistant dean of undergraduate education in the College of Engineering and an associate professor in the School of Engineering Education, has held senior positions in the K-12 and Educational Research Methods divisions of ASEE for over a decade, and has contributed in many ways to the development of the engineering education community.
Of ASEE's 12,000-plus members, 309 have been named fellow through 2009.
